Washing Instructions: Rinse in a bowl of cold water: Place the chopped leeks into a bowl and fill with cold water. Use your hands to agitate the leeks and dislodge any dirt or sand that may be clinging to them.
Storage Tips: Place unwashed, untrimmed leeks in a storage bag. Loosely close the bag around the leeks without sealing. Refrigerate. Place bag in the crisper drawer of the refrigerator.
